Reshaping College Admissions for 21st Century Mathematics

As educators redesign math pathways to expand equitable college opportunity, admissions policies can pose unique obstacles. Traditional math requirements have long served as a gatekeeper to selective colleges as well as competitive majors. 

At the 2021 National Association for College Admission Counseling Conference, Just Equations convened a panel of university officials and experts on college access and admissions to discuss the impact that reshaping math pathways and admissions processes can have on broadening students’ access to college.
